According to NerdWallet.com, Denver, CO ranks 4th for best cities to find a job. Colorado and Denver more specifically has been ending up on several “top” or “best” lists lately which is why more and more people are moving to Denver. The following questions and methodology were asked and used to determine rankings.

Methodology

The overall score for each city was derived from the following measures:

• Unemployment rate for the metro area: Bureau of Labor Statistics (November 2013)
• Population growth from 2010 to 2012: U.S. Census, data set (2012 U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey (ACS))
• Median income workers: U.S. Census, data set (2010-2012 ACS)
• Selected monthly owner costs: U.S. Census, data set (2010-2012 ACS)
